Most sex toys are designed by a small team, manufactured, and shipped. User feedback comes in the form of reviews after the fact, which is useful for the next product but not for the one already in people's hands.
Dame does it differently. Before any product ships, it goes through Dame Labs.
Dame Labs is a community of over 10,000 real users, people with vulvas, in relationships and not, across ages and body types, who test products during development and provide structured feedback. Not "did you like it?" feedback. Detailed, specific feedback about fit, sensation, ease of use, real-world performance.
This matters because bodies are not uniform. A vibrator that works perfectly for one anatomy might not fit another. A product that seems intuitive to engineers in a room might be confusing to someone using it in the moment. Lab conditions don't catch what real conditions reveal.
Dame Labs catches it.
Alongside community testing, every Dame product is reviewed by a clinical board that includes board-certified OB/GYNs, sex therapists, and pelvic floor physical therapists.
These are the people who see, clinically, what happens when products are poorly designed. Injury, irritation, products that aggravate rather than help existing conditions. Their input is structural: it shapes the product before it's finalized, not after.
Community testing tells you what real users actually experience. Clinical review tells you what's safe and medically sound. Neither is sufficient on its own.
A product could pass community testing and still have design elements that cause issues for people with certain anatomical conditions. A product could pass clinical review and still feel awkward, be hard to clean, or fall apart after three uses. You need both.
Dame has both.
Products that are designed for how sex actually works, not for how it looks in concept. Products that fit real bodies across real variation. Products with materials that have been reviewed for safety by clinicians, not just tested by internal teams.
The Pleasure Gap exists partly because the people designing products for women's bodies often weren't women, and weren't asking women what they needed. Dame Labs is the structural answer to that problem.
It's not marketing. It's how the products get made.
