Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question that's not here? Reach out to our customer experience team.

Is participation paid?

Compensation varies by study. Some studies include financial compensation, some provide Stasis supplements at no cost, and some include both. Specific compensation details are included in the study description and outlined in full before you agree to participate. You will never be asked to purchase anything.

Do I have to be a current Thesis/Stasis customer?

No. Studies are open to eligible individuals regardless of whether you currently use Stasis or any Thesis product. Eligibility is based on the specific criteria of each study, not your purchase history.

How is my data used?

Data collected during your participation is used for research purposes only. Depending on the study, de-identified data may be included in internal analyses, shared with academic collaborators, or form the basis of published research. Your personal information is never sold or used for advertising purposes. Full details on data use are provided in the informed consent document before your participation begins.

What does IRB-approved mean?

An Institutional Review Board (IRB) is an independent ethics committee that reviews research involving human participants. IRB approval means a study's design, risks, participant protections, and consent process have been reviewed and approved before the study begins. IRB approval does not mean a study is risk-free, it means appropriate protections are in place.

How do I withdraw?

Participation is always voluntary. You can withdraw from a study at any time, for any reason, without penalty or loss of any benefits you were entitled to up to that point.
